Batch Bin & Barrel was born as a result of COVID-19. We needed a place to store all of our extra chairs and tables when we had to reduce the capacity of the steakhouse down to 25%. As we were standing at 98 Albany street, we looked past the piles of chairs and tables and thought this could really be something special. It has great visibility to route 27 with endless amounts of traffic, both vehicular and pedestrian. The original idea was for it to be a liquor store but it evolved into something much greater and everyone is proud of it as it stands. Many months and years of planning and construction went into the space and it came out even better than we could have imagined.
Batch Bin & Barrel is a hybrid retail wine, beer, and spirits shop with a full bar offering the greatest selection of fine wines, craft NJ Beers and hand-selected spirits. These can be purchased to go or enjoyed at the 12-stool bar in a friendly environment. With an Italian imported hand crank slicer the prosciutto comes out paper thin so that it melts in your mouth, and the flatbreads are served hot and warms you up on the inside. Batch Bin & Barrel makes a great event space as well with the capability of having your own private bartender in this fantastic space with some culinary creations by the Batch Bin & Barrel team. And we can't forget about the barrel room, with seating for up to 8 and the latest technology we envision a carefully curated dinner where we can zoom in with some fine winemakers out in California. The team here is extremely excited at all the possibilities and special moments that will be had for years to come.
