Get ready to make your way out to New Brunswick for a very exciting and eventful Independence Weekend as we host fireworks, farmers’ markets, live music, and kid-friendly events! Check out this list of all the events happening in New Brunswick this weekend!
Live music and a fireworks display between the City of New Brunswick and the Borough of Highland Park will take place on Sunday, July 3 at Boyd Park, on the banks of the Raritan River.
Music will begin at 6 p.m., with live performances and fireworks scheduled to go off at 9:15 p.m. over the Raritan River. In the event of rain, fireworks will be rescheduled to Thursday, July 7th.
Admission is free and open to all. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for seating at the park. Food will be available for sale.
Declare your loyalty to the King! British and Loyalist troops will be on patrol. Explore and meet the historical interpreters that bring the Village to life through their trades and crafts. Bring a blanket or chair and watch the Liberty Base Ball Club home opener. Enjoy children's activities and more.
