5 Loaves & 2 Fish Orchestra

Do you know where the name of the 5 loaves and 2 fish comes from? It is from John 6:9 which says, "Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?"​ 5 small barley loaves and 2 small fish is something very small; it's a lunch box for only one boy. But this is what the disciple Andrew brought to Jesus to feed 5,000 people, believing that Jesus would do something great for the glory of God.

What are we trying to do with this small 5 loaves and 2 fish orchestra? It is not professional like the NY philharmonic. But, we believe that the 5 loaves and 2 fish orchestra will provide a great performance, which can satisfy your hunger for hope for the future, and for compassion. Eventually, we pray for all the members of 5 loaves and 2 fish orchestra to grow as men and women of possibility, who can challenge the future in their generation with something they can offer. ​​​​​

Rutgers University Royal Priesthood(RURP) 

​RURP is founded upon 1 Peter 2:9, which reads, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." RURP is a student organization of Rutgers University that encourages young people to develop and utilize their musical talents in order to praise God, share the gospel in our community, and support world mission. For this purpose, we hold weekly group Bible studies, praise nights, and orchestra rehearsals on-campus in conjunction with other organizations. 

To put Jesus' love into practice is ​​our primary purpose.

Pyongyang University of Science and Technology(PUST)​

​The Pyongyang University of Science and Technology was launched in 2010 and is the first foreign university in North Korea. PUST offers both undergraduate and graduate programs to DPRK students in a fully English speaking environment.
