At Johnson & Johnson, we believe good health is the foundation of vibrant lives, thriving communities, and forward progress. That’s why for more than 130 years, we have aimed to keep people well at every age and every stage of life. Today, as the world’s largest and most broadly-based healthcare company, we are committed to using our reach and size for good. We strive to improve access and affordability, create healthier communities and put a healthy mind, body, and environment within reach of everyone, everywhere. Every day, our more than 130,000 employees worldwide are blending heart, science, and ingenuity to profoundly change the trajectory of health for humanity.

The Johnson Hall Clock Tower raises awareness of global health-related observances and their importance to Johnson & Johnson. It celebrates noteworthy anniversaries, milestones, and commemorations.

March 12 - March 16- Myeloma Action Month

In recognition of Myeloma Action Month (MAM) this March, we light the Johnson Hall Clock Tower in burgundy. We are proud of our transformational medicines that have made significant advances in the treatment of multiple myeloma (MM), the second most common blood cancer. In 2023 alone, approximately 35,000 Americans were diagnosed with MM. Our commitment goes beyond medicines, as every March we partner with the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF) to amplify awareness of MM and support the patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers impacted by this disease.

March 24- World Tuberculosis Day

Each year on March 24, Johnson & Johnson joins the global community to recognize World Tuberculosis (TB) Day to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social, and economic consequences of TB, which remains one of the deadliest infectious diseases worldwide, killing approximately 1.6 million people each year.

Johnson & Johnson has been committed to the fight against TB for more than two decades. In 2012, we introduced the first targeted TB medicine with a novel mechanism of action in more than 40 years after years of focused investments in R&D. Today, three of every four multidrug-resistant TB patients on treatment are receiving a regimen containing our medicine; we have shipped nearly 800,000 courses of our medicine across 159 countries. We continue to support community-centered efforts aimed at safely and sustainably bringing more people into care. Together with our partners, we can and will help bring an end to TB for good.

March 31- Transgender Day of Visibility (TDoV)

March 31 marks Transgender Day of Visibility (TDoV), an international day recognizing the resilience and accomplishments of the transgender community. On this day, we raise awareness of discrimination faced by transgender people worldwide, as well as celebrate their contributions to society. With visibility comes more understanding. Johnson & Johnson supports the LGBTQIA+ community and our Open & Out Employee Resource Group helps accelerate our global culture of inclusion where everyone belongs.
