Rutgers football head coach Greg Schiano announced the annual Scarlet-White Game, presented by PNC, will be played on Saturday, April 29 at SHI Stadium. The on-field action starts at 3 p.m. and is part of Rutgers Day, one of the busiest days of the year on campus. Parking and admission are free.
Big Ten Network is set to handle the broadcast live.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to take part in a pregame fan fest inside SHI Stadium beginning at 2 p.m., involving some of the favorite elements of The Rutgers Boardwalk. That includes rides, games, giveaways, and an NFL Knights autograph session.
At halftime, the punt-receiving contest returns featuring figures from across the Rutgers community. A special moment on the field with the team and special guests caps the game. The current Scarlet Knights football team will be available afterward for an autograph session on the field.
An annual event in April (rain or shine), Rutgers Day is free, open to the public, and a chance to get a glimpse of exciting things happening at New Jersey's state university. With free performances, exhibits, hands-on activities, and demonstrations, Rutgers Day will engage and inform about the valuable contributions the University makes to the people of New Jersey and beyond.
The Scarlet-White Game, which comes at the conclusion of 15 spring practice sessions, offers fans the first opportunity to see the Scarlet Knights in 2023 for free. Season tickets are on sale for the seven-game home slate this fall, which features a three-game homestand to start. Call 1-866-445-GORU (4678) for more information.
