Most of New Brunswick’s eateries are open for business and ready to serve you, despite sweeping changes ordered by the State government in how restaurants can remain open in the wake of the Coronavirus emergency.
Many restaurants will continue to offer takeout, curbside pickup, or delivery service. If you normally enjoy your favorites “to go” anyway, you probably won’t experience anything different.
If the kitchen at your top dining destination is normally open late, even with these new guidelines in place, the services are still available until closing time. So if you work late hours, take out and pickup service will still be available until the restaurant kitchen closes.
To help you enjoy the City’s numerous dining offerings and to assist local businesses, a 30-minute “grace period” at the lower Church Street parking garage will be implemented for patrons of businesses providing takeout or curbside pickup.
We encourage you to support our local businesses and restaurants during these temporary restrictions. Check with your favorite restaurant for what options are being offered or use this opportunity to try something new!
