Miles Davis at 100

The Rutgers University Jazz Ensemble, led by Conrad Herwig, will present Miles @100, featuring special guest artist trumpeter Jeremy Pelt in a tribute to the legendary Miles Davis. The top student ensemble will consist of esteemed alumni from the Rutgers Jazz program, performing works from Davis' acclaimed Porgy and Bess and Miles Ahead collaborations with arranger Gil Evans, highlighting Davis' legacy of cool elegance, emotional depth, and sonic innovation.
